Oppn irked over KCR’s unique programs: HM

Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy today lashed out at the Opposition for making personal allegations against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Congressmen vied for just minister posts and false politics and ignored the welfare of most backward classes (MBCs) in the State, he alleged. 

Participating as chief guest at “Dasara Alai Bhalai” program organized by National MBC Welfare Association here, the Home Minister said KCR was for the cause of the poor welfare through several schemes. He took a dig at the Opposition for getting envious over the welfare schemes getting huge public response. The Opposition should stop making false allegations and extend support to the schemes in the public interest, he suggested. 

The Opposition was not able to digest development of the state and welfare of people, he charged. KCR’s efforts are for development of most backward classes in the state besides taking steps for all-round development the home minister said. Narsimha Reddy sought to know as to why the congress leaders during their rule failed to take measures for MBCs welfare. Except power and dirty politics the congress did not think of the welfare of the poor in our society, the home minister pointed out.

He further said the Chief Minister is ray of hope for the poor and deprived classes and implementing several schemes of welfare including housing facility, drinking water, pensions, fine rice, marriage scheme and support to community professions. “When these classes are developed, we can say that State has become Golden Telangana”, he said.
