ACB raids Excise official’s houses, Rs 1.5 cr illegal assets found
Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials have identified Rs 1.5 crore illegal assets with Excise Assistant Commissioner Srinivas Reddy.
, the ACB sleuths raided his residence besides those of his relatives and friends simultaneously responding on a complaint alleging that Srinivas Reddy have assets more than his legal earnings. The ACB sleuths conducted raids at 10 places, including Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Karimnagar.
Speaking to the media, ACB DSP Ravi Kumar said they recognized 13 acre land at Karim Nagar, 3.5 acre land at Medak, 1 acre at Hyderabadin the name of Srinivas Reddy. He said the sleuths also found 60 tolas of gold, two kilogram, silver, hard cash and foreign currency. The sleuths also found a house at Suchitra in Hyderabad and another house at Karim Nagar, Ravi Kumar added.
